Sustainable workplaces
Sustainable workplaces support the wellbeing of the employees. Tétris designed an expansive space with a strong brand identity for the Reckitt offices in Berkshire, England. I photographed the project, which is currently featured on Office Snapshots.
Reckitt’s new reimagined workplace design takes advantage of the impressive indoor and outdoor space to establish varied areas where employees can work and socialise.
The atrium is now the heart of the building with a new coffee bar, tiered seating, and suspended lighting scheme, turning it into a popular social and collaboration hub. The ground floor also provides a gym, wellness suite, restaurant and meeting rooms. Divided into neighbourhoods, the office floors provide electric height-adjustable desks and collaboration spaces.
Outside, the designers created five garden meeting pods with interlinking decking paths, retained mature trees, and pergolas for shade. The multi-storey car park was redesigned with metal cladding, perforated to create woodland imagery. The project is on track to achieve WELL Platinum certification.
