Microsoft: No. 1 in the Forbes World’s Best Employers list.
Each year, Forbes celebrates the best employers by surveying more than 300,000 employees in over 50 countries who work for multinational corporations that employ more than 1,000 workers and operate in at least two of the six continental regions of the world (Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America and Oceania).
Congratulations to Microsoft for ranking 1st place in the eighth Forbes World’s Best Employers list. I have supplied stills photography, drone photography and film for nearly ten years, capturing projects around the world as diverse as quantum computing to underwater datacentres, their partnership with Renault Formula 1 and various AI related projects.
This recognition reflects Microsoft’s commitment to creating an inclusive, innovative, and welcoming work environment, where their employees are encouraged to be themselves, grow, collaborate, and realize their full potential. Microsoft continues to transform the future of work and technology, helping people and companies achieve more.
Respondents were asked whether they would recommend their company to family or friends, and to rate it on such criteria as salary, talent development and remote work options. Participants could also rate companies they knew through their own industry knowledge and through friends and family who worked there.
Survey responses were analysed and tallied—along with data from the previous three years—with a heavier weight put on the more recent data and on the evaluations from current employees. While the number of honourees per country varied based on the population and qualifying companies in each area, 850 companies, spanning 48 countries, earned a ranking on our list, which is presented below. Companies pay no fee to participate or be selected.
