I photographed the Quantum Computer research facilities in Delft and Copenhagen for Microsoft. I was commissioned to capture the innovators and allowed special access to the work that they are doing.

The value of photography is not merely providing pictures to illustrate the story, but to show and explain in a creative way for the audience to understand. It is not always possible for a photographer to be present and therefore sometimes more important for those present to capture the pictures for posterity. However, I am a photographer … not a videographer, journalist, or content creator with a camera. It is about being inquisitive, understanding your subject, and being able to present everything from wonderment to humour in a photograph. Storytelling is at the heart of all my photography.
