46 – 48 GROSVENOR GARDENS

Architecture

46-48 Grosvenor Gardens is a stunning mid terraced property in Belgravia with a classic stucco facade. The prestigious address has undergone a remarkable transformation, being revitalised for the current work environment and foreseeable future, resulting in a truly unique office space.

Trehearne Architects in collaboration with Belshaw building consultancy have worked with Exigere, TPS, and QOB Interiors to strip out and renovate 16.5k square feet across five floors. This includes the refurbishment of the reception and core landlord areas on each floor as well as the installation of Cat A office amenities including end of trip facilities and cycle parking.

I was commissioned to photograph the project and capture how the designers have created a truly unique state of the art property that combines the charm of its historic architecture with modern amenities of the highest quality and environmental standards.

The building benefits from a triple height glazed atrium that provides natural light flooded floors, and two large roof terraces. Features included the Isomi desk and reception area with FLOS lighting by Michael Anastassiades, plus the atrium moss wall spanning all five floors.

Based on the client’s BREEAM Excellent goals, the design scheme has been thoughtfully planned around the existing building structure, to complement the buildings original features, provide the best possible working environments and the highest standards of office design.

The building is powered with brand new VRV heating and cooling with a Hydrobox unit for hot water generation. The M&E install programme worked around the architectural layout of the building and was installed discreetly to suit in with the heritage of the building.
