A Total Eclipse

Architecture, Commercial

All photography starts with light … every consideration that I make is a balance of light and shadow. Whatever I photograph I must have an appreciation of light to understand what I will capture in the final picture. I am looking at the contrast of light, the colour of light and the quality of light. This has given me an appreciation of lighting design through my architecture and interior photography.

Every Nando’s is designed differently to provide a distinctive experience. Their restaurant interiors take inspiration from their Southern Africa heritage with a PERi-PERi palette of colours, natural materials, geometric patterned fabrics, original artwork and lighting that creates a vibrant and welcoming ambience.

Nando’s lighting is eclectic with statement pieces taking centre stage enhancing the relaxed atmosphere. Each product is designed to engage our attention and draw us into a space to encounter sensory experiences.

Nando’s works with designers that include Mash T Design, Ashanti Design, David Krynauw, Modern Gesture, Lara Hooper, Abode, DK, SF Interiors and Wiid Design to create a range of bespoke lighting features.

They believe that every feature adds to their overall story of creating beautiful spaces, whilst also supporting local communities, with minimum impact on the planet.
