A vision of Excellence and Innovation

Architecture, Commercial

King & Spalding’s newly refurbished London headquarters is a vision of excellence and innovation, featuring a statement helical staircase at its centre, connecting five floors with bespoke joinery and high-end finishes.

I was commissioned to photograph the workspace with a brief to capture, the office environment with its views of London, key areas including the reception, boardroom plus breakout areas, and the feature staircase. I wanted to show how the staircase is integral to the flow of the space, as well as capturing the design and quality of its construction.

The 41,235 sq. ft. office at 8 Bishopsgate has been completely transformed by a team of project partners that includes Overbury, AVI-SPL, bap, Cameron & Payne, Cundall, Cushman & Wakefield, EQUATION Lighting Design, Hoare Lea, Sandy Brown, and TP Bennett. The main objective was to create a work environment that maintained King & Spalding’s reputation for delivering world class solutions for their clients, with a focus on collaboration and quality.

The King & Spalding project also included various social value initiatives that generated a significant amount of value for the local economy.
