“Best Humanitarian Storytelling Through Photography” in the Non-Profit Organisation Awards 2026
I am delighted to officially announce that I have been voted as the 2026 winner of the “Best Humanitarian Storytelling Through Photography” in the Non-Profit Organisation Awards.
It is always great to be recognised for your work. Even more so to be nominated by others.
Every year, the Non-Profit Organisation Awards celebrate organisations and individuals whose work is transforming lives, improving systems, and building better futures. The Awards recognise everything from frontline humanitarian support and health equity to groundbreaking education initiatives, environmental protection, economic empowerment, social justice advancement, and every credible mission centred on public good.
Judging is merit based, meaning recognition is awarded for excellence, innovation, integrity, and demonstrable positive impact.
Reflecting on the winners, Awards Coordinator Kaven Cooper said, “We’re proud to recognise those who play a part in improving this world and the lives of our fellow beings. It’s such an honour to celebrate their successes and learn from their stories.”
This year’s programme celebrates a diverse group of winners whose dedication, innovation, and compassion are driving meaningful change for individuals, communities, and causes around the world.
Photography is a powerful medium for inspiring change. Storytelling has always been central to my work, and images can make a real difference when they convey a shared humanity that resonates with the viewer.
I accepted the award on behalf of the organisations that I work with and the people I photograph.
