Hagir Network Interview
I was invited to appear on the Hagir Network to speak about “Portraits of Resilience”.
The Hagir Network serves as a platform to empower community voices locally and globally with educational, motivational, and inspirational content.
Portraits of Resilience features photographs of survivors of torture from around the world who fled their home countries seeking safety, recovery, and political asylum. The pictures are accompanied with statements that capture the courage and determination that led them to flee their home countries.
The ongoing photo series is a collaboration between me, the survivors, and TASSC International.
Survivors are the strongest and most effective voice in the campaign to abolish torture.
Led by Chairwoman and CEO Hagir Elsheikh, the Hagir Show is the cornerstone of a network delivering motivational content through impactful interviews. Distinguishing itself by addressing critical global and social issues, from systemic racism to voting significance, the network’s bilingual programming in English and Arabic provides a unique advantage, broadening appeal and accessibility.
Hagir Elsheikh, a catalyst for positive change, leaves an indelible mark on the world through her multifaceted roles and unwavering commitment to creating a better, more inclusive future.
