Happy New Year 2025

Uncategorised

Every ‘New Year’s Eve’ is a transition of reflecting on the previous year and thinking about what the new year holds for us.

2024 was a year of ‘change’ for me, with a new website to reflect who I am now as a photographer.

It was a year of supporting the charities that I have worked with for over ten years and beginning exciting collaborations with new organisations.

I continue to support this work with my commercial photography and photographed some incredible assignments in the UK and abroad. These ranged from corporate reportage to advertising and marketing, portraiture and events, to architecture and interiors.

At the beginning of the year, I was invited to speak and exhibit my “Portraits of Resilience” work at the Global Forum on Migration and Development, in Geneva. I was also approved by the United Nations Cultural Committee to show the work in the Palais de Nations in 2025.

In April I staged a solo exhibition entitled “Enrich Me with Your Difference”, that showcased a career of working with NGO’s.

2024 was an important year for the Siena International Photo Awards as they celebrated their tenth anniversary. I was invited to this year’s ceremony as they honoured all the ‘Photos of the Year’ from the past decade, including my award-winning photograph from the 2019 awards.

In 2025 I will be working on two significant exhibitions, expanding my “Portraits of Resilience” project, and have a number of exciting assignments in various parts of the world. I am also beginning a new personal project that I have been working on for the past year and a half.

I wish you all a happy new year and hope that there is the opportunity of working with you at some point in 2025.
