The heart of every design
Every company should have their employees at the heart of the design of their workplace. A companies place of work should enrich the employee’s life through multi-functional spaces that can provide opportunities for collaboration and social experiences, whilst also promoting wellbeing. The workplace should support a company’s diversity, inclusion, and sustainability goals.
Earlier this year I photographed the JLL offices in Norwich. Tetris Design and Build collaborated with JLL to produce an office that does all of the above and more. With hybrid working in mind, flexibility, connectivity, and collaboration are a priority, putting wellbeing, inclusion, and sustainability at the centre of the project.
The workplace has been designed with a variety of collaboration options, from hybrid meeting rooms with curtains and bleacher seating, to focus pods and collaboration booths. The breakout areas next to the tea points can also be utilised for casual meetings. The offices encourage social interaction with a large eating area next to the master kitchen, and a games room. Additionally, there is a dedicated wellness room and a multi-faith room.
JLL’s new Norwich office workplace has been designed and built to enhances the employee experience.
