InterGen’s 30th anniversary
This year InterGen celebrated their 30th anniversary. It seems only yesterday that I was photographing them celebrating their 20th anniversary at the Tate Modern!
In fact, I have been supplying InterGen with photography, film and drone material since 2008! I have captured the power stations they once owned in the Netherlands and Mexico, along with the current sites in the UK. I have supplied material for their website, annual reports and marketing material. This has ranged from photography, film and drone imagery of their power stations, stock material of the people who make up InterGen, their incredible apprenticeship and education programs, corporate portraits and various events.
Intergen is a world class developer, owner and operator of power generation facilities with a celebrated 30 years’ experience in global energy markets. It is one of the largest independent power producers in the United Kingdom with around 2,800 megawatts in operation between three combined cycle gas turbine plants and one open cycle gas turbine plant, providing in the region of 5% of UK generation capacity.
InterGen understands the importance of long-term relationships, with the people they work with, employ and the communities around their sites. InterGen actively engages with their neighbouring communities, because enriching the people around them makes for a better business.
