Nominated for the Black & White Spider Awards
I have been nominated at the 20th Annual Black and White Spider Awards, announced at a prestigious Photoshow streamed live on Saturday, December 6, 2025.The annual event was attended by industry leaders and the photography community from around the globe honouring the best in Black and White Photography.
My nomination was in the “Children of the World” category for my photograph taken in Rwanda for the organisation, DelAgua.
DelAgua began its innovative stoves programme over a decade ago in Rwanda. It is now the largest clean cooking programme of its kind in the world with operations in Rwanda, The Gambia and Sierra Leone. DelAgua exclusively targets rural communities in Least Developed Countries and provides a high-quality stove with integrated education and support, free of charge, enabling access to clean cooking for those who are otherwise unable to afford it.
Today over 1.9 million stoves have been provided, transforming over 7 million lives, cutting carbon emissions and benefiting the environment.
