A walk in the park with AI
The UK’s biggest pet care company, Pets At Home, is an early adopter of Microsoft Copilot Studio, where a business can create AI agents to act in support of different areas of the business. In the case of Pets At Home, a trial showed great promise in helping detect attempts at retail fraud.
I was assigned to capture the stills photography for the Microsoft feature. You know it is going to be a fun shoot when your brief includes, ‘capture as many photos of dogs around the office as possible, along with various portraits of key individuals … with their dogs, plus photography in the dog kitchen and dog play park’!
Dogs are part of the scenery at the offices of Pets At Home, and workers are encouraged to bring their pets to work. I had half a mind to take my own dog along. However, she would have been over excited with all the other dogs and misbehaved throughout the film crew’s interviews!
As it is, I ended up with dogs on top of me and others licking my head whilst lying on the floor trying to get unique angles!
Pets At Home recognise that the ability to bring in artificial intelligence and agents to work alongside their colleagues to provide them quicker insight and give them the ability to be more efficient allows Pets At Home to scale and grow the business while improving their overall consumer service.
