I enjoy seeing designers, that I have worked alongside, do well in prestigious awards. I always believe that my photography showcases the designers work and the awards verify that I am photographing with the very best creatives in the industry.
Tola Ojuolape has been shortlisted in the emerging interior designer of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
Tola Ojuolape in collaboration with Freehausdesign architects and brand agency Mam’gobozi Design Factory completely rejuvenated the Africa Centre in Great Suffolk Street, with QOB Fitout as the building contractor. I was commissioned to photograph and capture the multi-purpose site that offers flexible spaces for a variety of events and activities such as art exhibitions, pop-ups, and networking.
The Dezeen Awards celebrate the world’s best architecture, interiors and design. Now in its sixth year, it has become the ultimate accolade for architects and designers across the globe.
