Thank You Siena for cultivating a community of creatives that celebrate the universality of photography, conveying stories, emotions and connecting people through their visions.
I am proud to stand beside the other photographers as one of the Siena “Seeds of Enthusiasm” in the “Hall of Fame” for my photograph, “A Boy from the crowd”, which received the Siena Award’s Pangea prize of Photographer of the Year in 2019.
2024 is an important year for Siena International Photo Awards (SIPAContest) as they will celebrate their tenth anniversary.
In the Siena Awards first decade, Luca Venturi and the Siena team have built a world-renowned festival of photography that is infused with the spirit of Siena. More importantly they have built a community that nurtures talent, connects like-minded people, and inspires others. I can’t wait to see the next ten years of the awards, and the new “seeds”.
